OVERDOSE PREVENTION & SAFETY
The goal is to help people stay safe, healthy, and connected to support, by providing practical tools, information, and resources that reduce the risks associated with substance use and help prevent overdose. It is important to recognize that everyone’s journey is different and understand that all people deserve to be treated with dignity, respect, and compassion

Berkshire Harm Reduction (BHR) reduces the negative consequences associated with substance use, such as the spread of infectious diseases. In addition to naloxone, BHR offers testing for HIV, Hepatitis C, and other STIs (sexually transmitted infections) as well as basic wound care and abscess prevention. BHR aims to mitigate health complications from substance use by providing comprehensive support and service connection to people with substance use disorder.
